MEDICATED SHAMPOO FOR DERMATITIS IN CATS AND DOGS.

Dermatitis is one of the most common medical conditions of the skin. It is a general term for skin inflammation caused by different factors: bacterial, fungal, allergic, irritant and autoimmune skin infections which can be located in a specific area or spread all over the body, deep or superficial, with chronic or acute characteristics.

Different types of dermatitis can be identified by redness and thickening of the skin, transparent, purulent or bloody exudates corresponding to the presence of crusts and scales.

Characteristic signs include: bad odor. Pain or discomfort experienced when pressure or contact is applied. Dull, rough, and brittle coat with areas of alopecia (hair loss).

Ingredients

• Chlorhexidine

20% Chlorhexidine Digluconate, as the main ingredient, provides a powerful antiseptic action against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Malassezia spp.

Specially formulated to ensure persistent antiseptic action on the skin after rinsing.

• Coconut Betaine

This compound derived from coconut oil with proven antibacterial properties promotes gentle cleansing without damaging the hair and its structure. It helps maintain a balanced skin pH while it controls fiber static, leaving the coat more manageable and softer.

Indications

For overall hygiene of animals, as well as anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-itch treatment as it is indicated for dermatological infections caused by bacteria and fungi (Microsporum, Tricophytum, Malassezia). Its antiseptic formula makes it suitable to treat wounded areas of the skin.

Directions

For topical use. To be used exclusively on animals. Shake well before use. Veterinary use.

Anti-bacterial use: Thoroughly wet the coat with warm water. Apply Dermapet Septicare, gently massage deep into coat and skin to ensure product penetration, lather layer formation and even distribution. Allow it to stand for approximately 10 to 15 minutes and rinse well. Dry.

For wound disinfection: Apply the necessary amount on the affected area according to its size. Allow it to remain on pet for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse well. The length of the treatment is generally estimated until healing.

Control of dermatophytosis (ringworm): Repeat the treatment every 5-7 days until healing.

Control of bacterial pyoderma: Use the product every 48 hours and then adapt the frequency according to the veterinarian’s criteria.

Scent: Bio Cure Aroma. A neutralizing fragrance that exposes health and hygiene to the senses, differentiating it from the strong odors present in common anti-bacterial products.

Cautions

Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse pet thoroughly with warn water. The operator should use gloves for product application. Avoid ingestion, inhalation, and contact with mucous membranes and external ear. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Store between 15°C and 30°C.
